Three steps, then the job is closed out

No pipeline stages to maintain and no setup weekend. The paperwork moves in the order the work does.

  1. Price the job

Customer, site, labour, materials, currency, VAT rate, validity, and terms in one editor that totals as you type.

  2. Get it acknowledged

Email the quote, or mark it sent if you handed it over. The customer accepts on a private link that records their name, email, and the time.

  3. Invoice and close it out

Convert an accepted quote once into a separately numbered invoice, mark it paid, and keep the signed job report with it.

What it deliberately does not do

A short product is only useful if you know where it stops.

  • No payment collection, bank feeds, reconciliation, or accounting export.
  • No scheduling, dispatch, timesheets, team seats, or customer address book.
  • One VAT rate per document — no mixed rates, reverse charge, or discounts.
  • Printing uses your browser’s print-to-PDF dialog, not a server-rendered archival PDF.
  • Customer acceptance is a typed acknowledgement with an email and a timestamp, not a qualified electronic signature.

Common questions

What is EstimateBird?

A quote and invoice app for independent trades. You price a job, send it for the customer's written acknowledgement, convert the accepted quote into a numbered invoice, mark it paid, and keep the signed job report with it.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop, and your customer only needs the link you email them.

Where is my work stored?

In a cloud workspace scoped to the Google account you sign in with. Documents, job reports, and company settings are read and written by owner-checked server routes.

Does it guarantee my paperwork is compliant?

No, and it does not claim to. Tax treatment, invoice requirements, retention periods, and consumer rights differ by country and by business. Check yours with a qualified adviser.
